Terms of Service & Purchase

Welcome to Hind Sofa Centre. By accessing our website, visiting our workshop, or purchasing our bespoke furniture and repair services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the relationship between you (the client) and Hind Sofa Centre.

1. Custom Orders & Measurements

• Accuracy of Information: For bespoke orders, the client is responsible for providing accurate dimensions of their living space. Hind Sofa Centre will not be held liable for furniture that does not fit through doorways, stairwells, or into the designated room if measurements provided were incorrect.
• Artisanal Variations: Because our furniture is meticulously handcrafted, slight variations in dimensions (up to 1 inch) and wood grain textures may occur. These are not defects but rather the unique signatures of bespoke craftsmanship.
• Fabric Selection: Fabric colors may vary slightly from physical swatches or digital images due to dye lot variations and screen calibrations.

2. Pricing, Estimates & Payments

• All pricing estimates provided during consultations are valid for 15 days.
• A non-refundable advance payment of 50% is required to initiate the production of any custom sofa or extensive repair project.
• The remaining 50% balance must be cleared prior to the final dispatch of the furniture from our workshop.
• All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes and out-of-station shipping charges unless explicitly stated in writing.

3. Delivery & Installation

• Standard Timeline: Our standard dispatch time for custom orders is 14 to 21 working days from the date of advance payment and design sign-off.
• Delays: While we strictly adhere to timelines, delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., fabric unavailability, extreme weather, or transit issues) will be communicated immediately. Hind Sofa Centre is not liable for indirect losses caused by such delays.
• White-Glove Delivery: Our installation team will carefully place the furniture in your designated space. Please ensure the pathway is clear prior to our arrival.

4. Warranty Policy

We stand firmly behind the quality of our master craftsmanship. Our warranty covers the following:

• 5-Year Structural Warranty: Covers manufacturing defects in the kiln-dried hardwood frame (e.g., warping or cracking under normal use).
• 3-Year Foam Warranty: Covers abnormal sinking of high-density ortho-foam beyond natural softening.
• Exclusions: The warranty does *not* cover fabric piling, fading, cuts, pet damage, or damage caused by improper cleaning, shifting of furniture, or unauthorized third-party repairs.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Bespoke Nature: Because every sofa is made-to-order specifically to your tastes and dimensions, we do not offer cancellations or refunds once production has commenced.
• If a cancellation is requested within 24 hours of placing the order (and before production begins), a partial refund may be issued at the discretion of management, minus consultation and processing fees.

6. Sofa Repair Services

For upholstery and repair services, Hind Sofa Centre will evaluate the structural integrity of your existing furniture. If internal damage (e.g., broken springs or termite-infested wood) is discovered after the fabric is removed, additional charges for repair will be communicated and must be approved by the client before work proceeds.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
